• Burning during urination
• Burning and itching of the vaginal and vulva area

Yogurt contains a wonderfully natural antibiotic. Eating yogurt every day will help cure and prevent the yeast infections, however if the symptoms are extreme you can use a tampon. Dip the tampon in plain yogurt and insert it. Do this twice a day until the symptoms are gone. Buttermilk is said to work as well.

Try also a once a month 50/50 solution for vinegar and water douse.

Yeast love sugar, so altering your diet to decease your sweets will lower your chances of getting yeast infections. Diet is a main contributor to many health ailments and this is no exception. Women that are prone to other infections that are treated with antibiotics may find that while on such things as penicillin they tend to develop yeast infections. This is true; if you take the natural approach towards prevention then you may possibly see a decline in the need for prescription antibiotics.
